BALE: At Real, only victory is respected!

Former Real Madrid player and Wales national team player Gareth Bale said that the pressure of playing for Real Madrid is much greater than at any other club.

Bale played for Real Madrid from 2013 to 2022, and in a conversation with Peter Crouch and Jermaine Jenas, he talked about the period he spent in Madrid.

“At Real, only one word is respected, and that is victory.” It’s just like that. When you enter the Real Madrid dressing room, you feel like a winner. Of course, there were great football players there, but it’s still hard to explain. Victory is in the mentality of the club. When Real loses, it’s like the end of the world. The fans and the media crucify you, and you go home depressed.” Garrett said.

He recalled the Champions League final against Liverpool in 2018, when Real won 3:1 and he scored two goals.

“I remember the conversation with the Liverpool players before the game. They had trouble sleeping; they were nervous. It was different with us; we were calm and only interested in winning.” Bale pointed it out. At the beginning of the year, he decided to “hang up his boots” while playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy.
