Team Malta’s adventure in the Darts European Cup will start today as both men and women enter the action
Meanwhile yesterday the opening ceremony took place in the Samorin complex in Slovakia where, among others, the Maltese players carried the Maltese flag.
The men’s team is made up of Albert Scerri, Jonathan Bilocca, Kirsten Aquilina and Tony Borg with the team manager who will be Ray Gera.
On the other hand, Liliana Abela, Audrey Gauci, Josianne Caruana and Marconia Zammit Borg will be in the women’s national team
A total of 288 darts players from 40 different countries will take part. The tournament, which is organized by the World Darts Federation ends next Saturday.
