Cospicua Rangers player Johan Attard won the Champion ta’ Malta final after defeating Leon Azzopardi 10-6 in the final held at the Fuego Speakeasy Arena in Birkirkara.
It was a very exciting final where Attard built a 5-1 lead in the first part of the game although Azzopardi started coming so slowly that at one point he equalized the score at 6-6.
The last part of the game was all in Johan Attard’s final who won the next four frames and thus came out victorious.
For Attard this was his fourth title as Champion ta’ Malta and his 32nd personal title. On Azzopardi’s part this was the second consecutive final that he took part in with the player who has great potential to continue to improve his talents.
At the end of the match, Blackball senior member Lino Lauro presented the cup to Johan Attard.
