The Blackball Regional League final was a derby between the two teams of Hamrun 147 as the D team beat the C team 11-8.
It was a really nice final with team D establishing an 8-3 lead until the first period so that the C team reduced the gap to 10-8. Despite everything, Hamrun 147 C kept concentrated and Neil Aquilina scored the winning ball to give his team the Regional League cup.
The president of the Malta Blackball Federation Philip Gatt presented the cup to the player of Hamrun 147 D Gilmour Scicluna.
Referee of this game was Neville Cassar.
