Chris Mills and Jesmond Schembri advance to Masters Doubles semifinals

Chris Mills and Jesmond Schembri managed to qualify for the semi-finals of the Masters Doubles in the Blackball World championships which are being held in Malta.

The Maltese couple beat duo Gracian/Hughes u lil Farr/McLaughin with the identical score of 4-2 to continue advancing to the most important phases of this competition.

There was also a perfect record from the Men’s team who won all four games they played after defeating La Reunion 23-2, Northern Ireland 17-8, Madagascar 19-6 and Gibraltar 20-5.

Also in action were the women’s team who lost their match against Scotland 21-4.

At the same time, the Grandmasters were defeated by England 18-7 so in the youth categories the under 18 team lost the two games they played against Northern Ireland 15 -10 and Scotland 16-9 while the under 15 team beat Gibraltar 10-5 but lost to Wales 8-7.
