Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic participated in this year’s All-Star game, and before the start of the game, he experienced an unpleasant situation.
During the selection, Jokic independently climbed the stage with Lebron James, without having been selected yet.
“I thought I was the last one, I got up. I felt bad about that, especially now that we lost. I really thought I was the last, I didn’t see Markkanen, I made a mistake,” he said.
The Denver star finished the match with four points, five rebounds and six assists in 20 minutes.
When asked if he was surprised that he was chosen so late, the Serbian basketball player answered:
“I wouldn’t choose myself either, I’m not really made for these matches”,
