KROOS ON ASSISTS: It's not world class, but Messi's!

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is considered one of the best assistants in European football, but the German midfielder believes that Lionel Messi is out of the competition.

Kroos points out that when talking about the best assistants, Messi should be singled out on one side and Ozil, De Bruyne, Di Maria, and him on the other.

“As for assists, I would leave out Leo Messi.” He is special; he does everything on the field that no one else can; he scores goals and assists for fun; he takes free kicks; and many other things. So I will talk about players who are in the same class as me.

Kevin De Bruyne and Mesut Ozil remain the two best players who can help you at all times. I must say that I am impressed by Di Maria’s assist rate.” Toni Kroos said

In his career, Messi played for Barcelona, PSG, and the Argentina national team and scored 800 goals with 353 assists in 1,016 matches.

“Leo is exactly what every player wants in their team. “He is able to bring an advantage to his team out of nowhere; that’s not world class, that’s Messi’s class,” the Real Madrid player concluded.
