Frank Lampard has been appointed as the interim manager of Chelsea, as the club continues to search for a permanent replacement.
Lampard recently commented on the frequent changes that have taken place in the managerial role at the club, suggesting that Chelsea should wait to find the right coach. “It’s not stupid of them, because Chelsea expects games with the top four teams until the end of the season,” said the former Chelsea player.
Lampard expressed his displeasure with the frequent changes of strategists that have taken place during the Roman Abramovich era at Chelsea. “I was part of Chelsea and the coaches were changed regularly. I won three titles, but I should have had five or six. I have that feeling,” he stated. Lampard believes that consistency and direction are key factors in achieving success.
Chelsea’s search for a new manager has been ongoing since the departure of Graham Potter. According to reports from the Island, it is becoming increasingly likely that Mauricio Pochettino will take over the London club. Chelsea is hoping to find a coach who can guide them to success and stability in the long run.
