Becker: Djokovic's goal is Margaret Court and the 24th Grand Slam!

Boris Becker believes that Novak Djokovic’s era of dominance did not end with his loss in the Wimbledon final to Carlos Alcaraz.

The German, once Djokovic’s coach himself, believes that Novak played an excellent match against Alcaraz.

“It was the best promotion of our sport.” Thanks to that, tennis got a million new fans and now we all can’t wait for it to happen again in New York or Melbourne. “A great rivalry is developing and I believe that Novak will play for a long time,” said Becker.

When asked what can still motivate Djokovic after 23 Grand Slam wins, Becker said:

“The hunt for the 24 Grand Slam trophy.” In that case, he will tie with Margaret Court. I know that’s his goal. Not to be the best only in the men’s competition, but the best in all categories,” concluded the German.
