The GOAT tennis race is still going on, and the question is whether it will get its epilogue.
Many express their views and assessments, and one of them is the legendary German tennis player and former coach of Novak Djokovic, Boris Becker.
The former Djokovic coach believes that the world number one will surpass the biggest rivals in the number of Grand Slam titles at a time when all three are at 20.
– The fact is that all three won 20 Grand Slams, and that is something incredible that will never happen. The numbers don’t lie. It also matters how many weeks you’ve been on top. Novak is far ahead of everyone. If all three stopped playing tennis today, Djokovic would be the greatest – Becker said.
The German also added that Djokovic is in much better shape than his two great rivals.
– Federer and Nadal must seriously consider how long they can be called players. Rafa’s case is easier, Roger has by far the most fans, and I don’t know how he can come back after knee surgery at the age of almost 41 – said Becker.
It remains to be seen whether Novak will be able to break the record.
