Alcaraz: Kyrgios has best chance to beat Djokovic at Wimbledon

On the eve of Wimbledon, Carlos Alcaraz said that out of all the players, Nick Kyrgios has the best chance of beating Novak Djokovic.

Let’s remind you that Alcaraz recently got cramps in the semifinals of Roland Garros due to the intensity and psychological pressure, and because of that he could not offer more resistance to Djokovic in the third and fourth sets.

The Spaniard is currently in Halle, where he is preparing for Wimbledon, and one of the journalists’ questions was: What he expects from the tournament and whether he believes he can win it.

“I have said before that I believe I can win any tournament I play in.” However, on grass it’s more complicated for me, because I don’t have much experience and I struggled in some matches on that surface. Obviously, there is Novak who, along with Roger Federer, is one of the best players who ever played on grass,” Alcaraz said.

Recently, Kyrgios said that he is the only one who can “stop Novak in London”, and interestingly, Carlitos also agrees with him.

“Kyrios has already played in the Wimbledon final, the grass is lying to him. I’m not saying that I’m not capable of beating Djokovic, just that I have less chance than on some other surfaces. Nick has more chances than any other player”, concluded Alcaraz.
