Carlos Alcaraz defends Indian Wells masters title with victory over Medvedev

Carlos Alcaraz successfully defended his Masters title at Indian Wells, overcoming Daniil Medvedev in a straightforward match.

Carlos secured victory in two sets, claiming a 7-5, 6-1 win over the Russian opponent.

The first set was notable for Medvedev’s heated exchange with referee Mohamed Lahyani, where he expressed frustration, stating “tennis is a challenging sport.”

In the second set, Alcaraz dominated the court, allowing Medvedev to win only one game, thus solidifying his triumph.
