The Maltese national table tennis teams started their commitments in the ETTU European Youth championships in Malmo.
Yesterday both the cadets and the junior teams, both men and women, were in action.
In the Cadets, Malta lost 3-0 against Slovenia and Luxembourg while in the Juniors, the Maltese lost 3-0 against Norway and Greece respectively.

On the other hand, the Maltese women had a good game against Norway where they won a set although they still lost 3-1. Earlier, they were defeated by Luxembourg and Sweden 3-0.
Meanwhile on the second day of games of this tournament the Maltese cadets will play against Latvia at 3.30pm while the junior men’s teams and of the women have a commitment in the morning against Bosnia and Armenia respectively.
