Wilson, the reigning champion of Crucible, and defending champion, Judd Trump, will be the main attractions on the third day of the China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Center (COVCEC).
The event will also feature John Higgins and local favourite Ding Junhui. Wilson has started strong in Wuhan and is determined to continue his streak of reaching the last 16 in every conventional event he has participated in this season. The Warrior, who won the Xi’an Grand Prix in August, has been in excellent form this week, only losing one frame in his wins against Liam Davies and Aaron Hill. He has also scored three centuries and six breaks over 50. In his upcoming match against Xiao, a two-time ranking finalist, Wilson will hope to maintain his momentum.

Trump, who hit three centuries in his 5-0 win against Xu Si, faces a tough opponent in Anthony McGill as he defends his title.
Local favourite Ding, who also scored three centuries in his previous match, will aim to please the home crowd once again as he takes on another Chinese player, Yuan Sijun.
Higgins, who came from behind to defeat Fan Zhengyi, will be looking for a quicker start against Zak Surety.
Other notable matches include Shaun Murphy against Noppon Saengkham, Ali Carter against Marco Fu, and Zhang Anda against rising star Hossein Vafaei. The schedule for Tuesday’s matches, which will be played over the best of nine frames, is set to begin at 7am BST at the COVCEC.
