From Wednesday 11th to Sunday 15th September, a group of 12 Sicilian car enthusiasts travelled to Malta for the exclusive Malta Tour 2024. They arrived on the island on Wednesday evening via Catamaran and checked into a four-star Resort in Cirkewwa.
The following day was dedicated to immersing themselves in Maltese culture. The group visited the Basilica of Christ the King and then headed to Bahrija for a traditional Maltese feast of appetisers, dishes and desserts. This was followed by a guided tour of the historic city of Mdina.

On Friday 13th September, the tour continued with a visit to the Sanctuary and Museum of our Lady of Mellieha, passing by St. Agatha’s Tower and the chapel of the Immaculate Conception at Ahrax Point. Lunch was enjoyed at La Vittoria Band Club in Mellieha’s parish square, where the President and General Secretary of the Philarmonic Society, Paul Mifsud and Joe Cauchi, warmly welcomed the Malta Tour 2024 group. After lunch, they visited a Glass Factory at the Ta Qali Crafts Village and passed by Popeye Village on their way back to the resort.
Saturday was a highly anticipated day, as the group visited the Malta Classic Car Museum in Qawra, followed by a tour of the Old Motors Club Malta Clubhouse and a delicious lunch. The day ended with a visit to the Malta Aviation Museum and a special evening of gift exchanging and presentations.
On the last day of their tour, Sunday 15th September, the group visited Fort St’Elmo and enjoyed the In Guardia reenactment before touring the fort and the War Museum. The final lunch together was held nearby before the group headed to the Virtu Ferries Terminal to board the MV Jean de La Vallette Catamaran and return to Pozzallo.
