The Malta Motorsport Federation is honoured to announce that the International Federation of Automobile (FIA), through its World Motor Sport Council (WMSC), has elected President Duncan Micallef as Chairman of the 2024-25 FIA Drag Racing Commission and a member of the Circuits Commission.
Like many other commissions, from Karting to Formula One, the FIA Drag Racing Commission decide on rules, regulations, safety and development of Drag Racing in 147 countries on five continents.
President Micallef worked closely with the FIA and other institutions for the last three years, mainly due to the Hal Far Motorsport Park. This a huge honour for the hard-working president of the Malta Motors Federation and his team and should be for every Maltese Motorsport Enthusiast.
