MITTC player Kim Taehyun managed to qualify with the best table tennis players in the world when he reached the main doubles round and will be representing Malta today in Singapore.
He met former Maltese star Simon Gerada who is now managing Australia.
Singapore Smash is the highest category of games organized by the World Table Tennis (WTT) where the best players compete against each other.
This is the second occasion that Taehyun managed to qualify on behalf of Malta. In today’s game he will be playing with Indian partner Mudit Dani and will be meeting Brazilians player Viktor Ishiy and Guillherme Teodoro.
