Maltese Athletes competed in the Trap events at the ISSF Junior
World Cup Porpetto, ITA 2024.
The Team consisted of 5 Men and 1 Woman who all competed in the
individual events.
Athletes GRIMA Yana, CASSAR Abiel, CASSAR Luke and GRECH Shazen all
competed for the very first time in an ISSF International Event.
In the Trap Men event, BUGEJA Ryan recorded a satisfactory result of
115/125, while SCIBERRAS Nico managed 111/125. CASSAR Luke and GRECH Shazen hit
105/125 each and CASSAR Abiel scored 103/125.
In the Trap Women event, GRIMA Yana managed 92/125.Mirabile Riccardo (ITA) was the overall winner in Trap Men with the
score of 121/125 +2 shoot-off in qualifying and 45/50 in the final stages.In the Trap Women event, it GARRISON Carey Jeana (USA) who came out
on top as she hit 40/50 in the finals after qualifying with the score of
114/125 +2 shoot-off.The Maltese Athlete were assisted by their Personal Coach, Aldo
Falzon.
