The FK Boċċi First Division League kicked off with champions St Peter’s Żabbar starting with a 21-11 victory against Żejtun to continue their positive moment a few days after winning the Super Cup.
There were identical 21-10 victories for Għaxaq, Buġibba and Birkirkara who defeated Thallasalejn, Żurrieq and Żabbar respectively.
Żebbuġ defeated Lija 21-14 while Msida secured maximum points against Tarxien after a 21-12 victory.
