The Malta Snooker Academy hosted another exciting day of Under-16 snooker action todaty, as young players continued their quest for top honours in the group stages.
In Group A, Andrei Cini put in a composed and clinical display to secure a 2-0 victory over Craig Casha. Cini’s break-building ability and tactical play proved too strong for Casha, who showed resilience but could not shift the momentum in his favour. Cini’s win puts him in a strong position in the group, as he eyes qualification to the next stage.
In the same group, Nick Muscat registered a straightforward 2-0 win over Cayden Spina. Muscat displayed maturity and confidence beyond his years, maintaining control throughout both frames. Despite some flashes of potential from Spina, Muscat’s consistency and focus earned him the well-deserved win.
Group B saw Caiden Casha take on Adam Pace in what turned out to be a confident performance from Casha, who emerged victorious with a 2-0 scoreline. Casha showed excellent cue control and a good temperament under pressure, while Pace struggled to find rhythm against a determined opponent. The win gives Caiden Casha early momentum as the group stage progresses.
