The CE Installations Premier League is set for an intense finale as the top four players prepare to battle for the prestigious Maltese Snooker Champion title. The semifinals, scheduled at the Malta Snooker Academy, promise thrilling action and high-quality snooker.
On Monday, 2 June, reigning champion Aaron Busuttil will defend his title against challenger Chris Peplow. Busuttil, known for his steady and tactical play, faces a tough test as Peplow aims to secure his first appearance in a Premier League final and claim the coveted crown.
The second semifinal, taking place on Wednesday, 4 June, features Masters title holder Alex Borg facing off against Brian Cini, a seasoned competitor chasing his fifth Premier League title. Borg’s recent form suggests he is a strong contender, but Cini’s experience makes the matchup highly unpredictable.
Both semifinal matches will be contested over a best-of-nine frames format, setting the stage for tight, strategic battles. The finalists will then meet on Friday, 6 June, in a best-of-eleven frames final to decide the champion.
The Malta Snooker Academy will host all matches starting at 6:15 PM, with live streaming available to snooker fans worldwide. The event is proudly supported by CE Installations and Sport Malta.
