The launch was marked by a symbolic Torch Relay, in which secondary school students paraded from the Education Ministry in Floriana to the Triton Fountain. The flame will officially mark the start of the games, embodying the ideals of hope, respect, and friendship, reflecting the Olympic spirit of Excellence, Respect, and Friendship.
