Luxol St Andrew’s were eliminated from the UEFA Futsal Champions League after losing their last group 7 game against host team Lucenec 3-2.
It was a very keen and hard-fought game with the Slovaks who were always ahead but with the Maltese champions who always kept their pace. When the score was 3-2, Luxol attacked and even came out with the flying keeper but the Slovak defence held firm so that they were the ones who passed to the last 16 of the competition.

Marek Belanik put Lucenec on top before Celino Alves equalized for Luxol.
Marcilio made it 2-1 for the Slovaks before the end of the first half Vitinho scored the goal to make it 2-2. Lucenec scored what proved to be the winning goal through Robert Gresko.
Towards the end Luxol were deprived of what appeared to be a clear penalty when Rafael brought down Celino Alves but the referees let the game go on.

In another game from the same group, Akaa of Finland beat Georgians Tbilisi 3-1.
