Local futsal champions Luxol St Andrew’s started the 2024/25 season on a positive note when they secured their first win in the Enemed Futsal League after beating Ta’ Xbiex 10-3.
Gabriel Dobre’s boys had already established a lead of 7-2 by the end of the first half and continued to manage the game until the end.
Lucas Da Conceicao, Eric De Oliveira and Jhonn Castro Pulido scored a double each while Marrwan Telisi, Jefferson Breno, Mark Zammit and youngster Nathan Cope added the score for their team.

Ta Xbiex reduced the score margin through Sebastian Obando, Giancarlo Sammut and Juan Bautista Conde.

University of Malta found little difficulty in defeating the Maltese under-19 team 9-0.
Zvezdan Vukovic, Andre Cachia and Luke Anthony Borg netted a double each with Steven Camilleri, Cleavon Portelli and Dusan Petrovic who also put their names down among the scorers.

Swieqi United Futsal LEC 07 beat Birżebbuġa St Peter’s Futsal 7-1.
The team in orange shirts scored all their goals in the first half with Marcelo Alarcon, Dylan Musu and Rodrigo Rocha inspiring their teammates after scoring a brace each. Dylan Pace was also part of the scorers with Birżebbuġa who scored their only goal thanks to Armando Gjepali.

Marsaskala Futsal Legends beat the Maltese under-17 team 14-5.
Josef Balzan, Owen Duca, Hugo Vinicius and Cristian Fernandez scored two goals each so that Jovica Milijic, Dale Valletta, Amir Ashtiyani, Craig Pickard, Ryan Pisani and Bertram Azzopardi continued to increase the score for their team.

Kaden Baldacchino, Francesco Vella Critien, Nickolai Cocker, Benjamin Spiteri and Andrew Grima were on target for the Maltese youngsters.
