The French rider in the MotoGP championship, Fabio Quartararo, operated on the leg he injured during the weekend he spent in the Netherlands at the beginning of this week.
Quartararo injured his leg during the run in Amsterdam, but received the doctor’s permission to compete in the races planned for that weekend.
Everything was going well for the 2021 champion on Saturday, when he took his first sprint podium. The day after, during the main race in Assen, he fell off the track in the third lap and further injured his leg.
He immediately announced on Sunday the leg surgery, which was successfully performed already on Monday, and now months of rest follow, in which he announced serious recovery measures in order to be ready for the race in Great Britain.
the next race in the championship will be held on the track in Silverstone only on August 6.
