United are not giving up on Martinez

Manchester United does not want to give up on the desire to hire Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez so easily, so they sent a second offer for him.

Namely, United’s coach, the Dutchman Erik ten Hag, previously worked with Martinez during the past season in the club from Amsterdam.

However, in addition to United, the leaders of Arsenal also showed interest in this player.

The first offer they sent for the Ajax defender was 45 million euros, but Ajax rejected that offer, so they decided to send a higher one this time, which is 51 million euros.

Last week, the directors of Ajax, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Gerry Hamstra, were in London, where they had a conversation with the leaders of the English club, and Martinez has already declared that he wants to play in the Premier League.
