Young Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah did not accept the club’s offer to continue cooperation, and his contract expires at the end of this season.
Having entered the final year of his contract, Nketiah can sign a pre-contract with any foreign club in January.
According to the British media, the decision of the 22-year-old attacker is not in the financial motive, but the problem is the small minutes he gets.
Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta recently said that he is counting on Nketiah and that he wants him to stay, but on the other hand, he has not played a single game in the Premier League this season.
The striker passed the club academy “Gunners” and in the first part of the 2019/20 season he played on loan in Leeds, while in the second part of the season he was transferred to the first team of Arsenal. He scored six goals in 29 matches, two of which are in the English championship.
Also, the talented Nketiah is the best scorer of the young national team of England, where he scored 16 goals in 17 games.
