Malta Veterans dominant over Whitegate United

The Malta Veterans completely dominated the game, crushing Whitegate United 6-1 in a friendly match held at Mosta’s Charles Abela Stadium.

Led by coach Joe Micallef, the Maltese team held a 1-0 lead until halftime. The second half proved to be intense, as they managed to find the back of the net five more times.

Adam Smeir opened the scoring for Malta in the 35th minute, with Ian Zammit doubling their advantage at the hour mark.

In the 67th minute, David Azzopardi set up Luke Satariano, who made no mistake and made it 3-0 for Malta.

Despite Whitegate United pulling one goal back in the 71st minute, the Maltese team remained focused and went on to score three more goals. Daniel Cremona found the net, followed by a stunning free kick from Kevin Sammut, and Adam Smeir completed his personal brace.
