Paul Zammit win best Premier League coach in MFCA awards

Paul Zammit won the award for the best Premier League coach as the MFCA Awards took place on Wednesday evening at the Centenary Hall in Ta’ Qali.

The Sliema coach managed to lead the team in the FA Trophy win as well as clinching the third place in the Premier League table.

Winston Muscat who coaches Marsaxlokk finished in second place in this category.

Clive Mizzi of Melita was voted as the BOV Challenge League coach followed by Emilio Cornago of Żabbar St Patrick.

In the Izibet Amateur League, George Magri of Mtarfa and Brian Spiteri of Mġarr United finished in first and second place respectively.

Best nursery coach – Noel Turner.

Gozo First Division – Darko Stojanovic

Gozo Second Division – Davor Filipovic.

The best women’s coach – Jose Borg.

The best women’s player – Brenda Borg.

Best men’s coach – Luke Montebello

Team of the year – The women’s national team.

President’s Awards – Carmelo Bartolo.
