The Swedish national team player of Macedonian origin, Dejan Kulusevski, was declared the best football player in Sweden for the year 2022, Macedonian media announced.
Kulusevski is a Juventus football player, and since January he has been on loan at Tottenham, which lasts until the end of this season, more precisely until June 2023.
“This whole year has been incredible. I went to Tottenham and my life came back to me”, Kulusevski said about the recognition he received.
In the past year, Dejan played seven matches for the Swedish national team in the World Cup and League of Nations qualifiers, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
The former member of the North Macedonia U17 national team, originally from Ohrid, scored one goal and had five assists in the Premier League.
