Southampton Football Club announced on Friday that they have secured the signings of Brazilian left back Wellington and forward Juan from Sao Paulo.
The players have signed pre-contract agreements with the Premier League club and are set to join them in January. Wellington, who made his senior debut for Sao Paulo in 2020, has amassed an impressive 150 appearances for the club at the age of 23. He has also represented the Brazil Under-23 national team. Juan, on the other hand, is 22 years old and has represented Brazil at the Under-17 and Under-18 levels. He has made 80 appearances for Sao Paulo thus far. Both players will join Southampton once their contracts with Sao Paulo come to an end.
