Ibrahimovic about Mihajlovic: Sinisa provoked me, and now he is calling me his son

Legendary football player Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke in an interview for the media in Italy about various topics, including his relationship with Sinisa Mihajlovic.
Ibrahimovic will soon publish an autobiography called “Adrenaline”, and on that occasion, he answered questions and revealed many details from his life, one of them being his relationship with Mihajlovic, which was not ideal in the beginning.

  • Sinisa provoked me during the whole match, he told me terrible things in Slavic languages, in Serbo-Croatian if it’s easier for you. I fell for it. Now he calls me ‘brother’ and ‘my son’. When he fell ill with the same disease as my brother Sapko, I packed up and went to Bologna, Zlatan said.
  • Mihajlovic was bad on the field, a professional provocateur like Michael Ballack. But he did it to give the team and his teammates an advantage. I had problems with him over the years, he paid my bill when I hit him in the temple with my elbow. Inzaghi said that it was the best derby in his life, Ibrahimovic concluded.

Zlatan and Sinisa have been friends for many years, they were rivals in the matches between Juventus and Inter between 2004 and 2006, they had the opportunity to cooperate in the Milan team, at a time when Mihajlovic was the assistant coach for two seasons.
