Gavi took Spain to the EURO 2024

Norway and Spain met in the derby match of Group A qualification for the European Championship in Oslo, and the guests won with a score of 0:1. A goal worth three points and a place in the continental championship was scored by Gavi in the 49th minute of the game.

The guests started the match better and were the first to shake the opponent’s net. Alvaro Morata did that in the 20th minute, but his goal was disallowed for offside after an intervention from the VAR room.

And the impression is that the striker of the Spain got unnecessarily active at the end of that attack, considering that even without his intervention the ball would have ended up in Norway’s goal.

The same player had a good chance in the 41st minute when his header went just over the crossbar. The Spaniards were close to the lead a minute before the end of the first part of the game, when Rodri’s long-range shot was a little inaccurate.

The guests continued in the same rhythm after the break, which paid off for them already after four minutes of the game in the continuation when Gavi was among the scorers.

The striker of Spain did the best in Norway’s penalty area after the “ricochet” and sent the ball into the net for the lead of his team and it turned out to be a victory.
