Everton moved into the Premier League’s top five with a comfortable 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, spoiling Sean Dyche’s first return to the club.
Everton got off to the perfect start, scoring within the first 90 seconds. A free-kick caused early problems for Forest, and although they cleared the first ball, a cross from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall hit defender Nikola Milenković and went in for an own goal.
The home side looked confident after taking the lead. Jordan Pickford made an important save to stop Elliot Anderson, and Everton doubled their advantage just before half-time. Iliman Ndiaye won the ball and set up Thierno Barry, who calmly scored his first goal for the club.
Forest came out stronger after the break but struggled to create clear chances. Pickford almost gifted them a goal with a poor punch, but James Tarkowski cleared Igor Jesus’ effort off the line.
Everton pushed for a third, and after sustained pressure, Dewsbury-Hall scored again with a low shot through a crowded box—his third goal in four games.
The win means Everton have now taken three victories from their last four matches, lifting them to fifth place, while Forest stay just three points above the relegation zone.
