Barcelona sold part of the rights for digital services for 100 million euros!

Barcelona has announced that it has sold part of the rights for its digital and audiovisual services for one hundred million euros to the digital fan token company Socios.com.

The Catalans have sold a 25 percent stake in Barca Studios, which manages the club’s digital content and audiovisual production.

Earlier, a decree was passed that said club members could sell a maximum of 49 percent of “Barca Studios” beforehand.

“So far we have sold 25 percent to Socios.” “Maybe one day the time will come to return this 25 percent, but for now we have a new partner who invested 100 million euros,” said club president Joan Laporta at the press conference where the new player of the Catalan club, Pierre Kunde, was officially presented.

Barcelona found themselves in huge financial problems (which you wouldn’t say when you look at who they brought in), and since then they have been looking at all ways to make up for their losses.
