The U17 WNT is in action in the coming days tasked with a double fixture as part of the UEFA Women’s Under 17 Qualifiers.
All taking place at the Centenary Stadium, with the opening encounter for Malta in this Group B5 scheduled for Wednesday kick-off at 11 am against Northern Ireland.
A three-team group for the Malta U17 team, scheduled to play the final encounter in this group on Tuesday next week, locking horns with Luxembourg.
Both matches for the girls kick off at 11;00h.
Late on Monday Malta Women’s U17 Coach Vince Galea announced his final squad list ahead of this multiple endeavor for the girls who have been working tirelessly over recent weeks for the best possible preparation before this tournament.
A 20-player selection containing one foreign-based, Lexine Farrugia who plays for Sampdoria in Italy.
Domestically Swieqi United is the club most represented in this call-up with a total of six players selected, they are followed by Birkirkara represented by four members in this final squad selection of the U17 WNT ahead of this UEFA tournament.
