In the first quarter final of UEFA Euro 2024 to be played later today at 6pm in Stuttgart, tournament favourites Spain are up against hosts Germany in what could be an anticipated final. Spain are definitely the favourites going into this tie with their young players Nico Williams and Yamine Jamal on fire. They also have incredible experience with Rodri, Danny Olmo, danny Carvajal and the evergreen Alvaro Morata.
Germany, on the other hand have played quite well but when they came up against switzerland, the Germans only equalised at the last minute. They will be looking to such stalwarts as Jamal Musiala and Ilkay Gundogan to make a difference and prise open the Spanish defence. However, they definitely start as underdogs here.

France have been slightly indifferent in this tournament with their star player Kylian Mbappe’ not really on song after his broken nose against Austria. Les Belus have not scored in open play with two own goals and a penalty to their name.
Portugal goalkeeper Diogo Costa came to the rescue against Slovenia with three saves in the penalty shoot-out, while France have kept three clean sheets in their four games so far, the likes of Jules Koundé and William Saliba particularly impressing. Who will get the upper hand in Hamburg?
