Ħamrun 147 A kept the pace with National Blackball League leaders Cospicua Rangers as they beat Jojo’s Birżebbuġa A 11-9 in a hard-fought game. For their part, the Cottonera side won 11-5 against San Ġwann Nick’s A in order to keep the first place in the table.
The same San Gwann Nick’s A returned to winning ways when in their second commitment of the week they beat Qormi Anici B 11-6. The same score was registered by Ħamrun 147 B against Qormi Anici B while Qormi Anici A beat Valletta Breakwater 11-7.
In the regional championship, leaders Hamrun 147 C were held in a 10-10 draw by Selmun Bar A while Domus Kids Żejtun A and PL Balzan A got three important points after positive scores against Kazin Pinto A (11-8). and Ħamrun 147 D (11-9)
In the Community League group A, there is an interesting battle between leaders Qormi Anici D, San Ġwann Tiki Taka A and Birkirkara Boċċi.
The Qormi side won 11-4 against San Ġwann Nick’s B, the team from San Ġwann found it easy against Mrieħel Billiard House so much so that they won 11-2 while the Birkirkara side had a great victory of 11-1 against Selmun Bar C. Juve Birkirkara B beat PL Balzan B 11-4 in another match played this week.
Finally in the Community League group B, San Ġwann Tiki Taka B are enjoying an 11 point advantage in the standings over Juve Birkirkara A after they kept winning their matches. In fact, the team from San Gwann beat Taċ-Ċaċċu Qormi 11-2.
In more matches, we had absolute balance in the matches between Qormi Anici C and Selmun Bar B as well as Domus Kids Żejtun B and Juve Birkirkara A and even Juve Birkirkara A and Taċ-Ċaċċu Qormi with the final score being 10-10 .
Valletta Fossa Boys got three important points after a score of 11-7 against Qormi Anici E.
