The Community and Regional Easter Cups have reached a decisive phase as teams battle for a place in the finals. Four teams have secured their spots in the Community Easter Cup semi-finals following strong performances in the quarter-finals.
PL Floriana, Qormi Anici Cappadocia, Qormi Anici Calleja Ltd, and PL Balzan all emerged victorious after two-leg encounters. Both PL Balzan and Qormi Anici Calleja Ltd registered identical 21-15 wins against Qormi San Bastjan Boċċi and San Ġwann Tiki Taka C, respectively. PL Floriana had to work hard to overcome Żebbuġ St Joseph, eventually winning 21-18, while Qormi Anici Cappadocia secured a solid 21-16 victory over Selmun Sports Club B.
The first legs of the Community Easter Cup semi-finals will take place today, with PL Floriana facing Qormi Anici Cappadocia and PL Balzan taking on Qormi Anici Calleja Ltd.
Meanwhile, the Regional Easter Cup semi-finals will also be played this week. San Ġwann Tiki Taka A is set to meet Qormi Anici Boys, while Qormi Pinto will battle against Cospicua Rangers B in what promises to be an exciting round of fixtures.
The competition intensifies as teams aim for a spot in the final and the chance to lift the Easter Cup trophy.
