The Red Bull Half Court World Final will take place in Dubai for the first time on 28–29 November 2025, bringing together the world’s best streetball players. Teams from 18 countries, including Japan, the USA, the Philippines, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, South Africa, the Maldives and North Macedonia, will compete after months of national qualifiers. One of the standout stories is two brothers playing together for North Macedonia.
The event will be held outdoors at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Plaza, with the Museum of the Future creating a striking backdrop. A new interactive LED floor will add moving graphics and animations to the court, offering a fresh experience for both players and spectators. Paul Gudde, Red Bull Half Court’s Global Sports Director, says the feature brings a new level of creativity to streetball.
Well-known basketball figures such as WNBA star Arike Ogunbowale, four-time World Tour champion and Olympic medallist Dušan Bulut, and streetball icon The Professor will also be present. Ogunbowale says it is exciting to see top women players competing on a global stage and inspiring younger athletes.
The matches follow FIBA 3on3 rules, with three players and one substitute per team, 10-minute games and a 21-point limit. Teams can also earn an “Own the Court” bonus for strong group-stage performances. Two special scoring spots placed behind the arc will award three points if a player shoots from them with their foot on the marked circle.

Red Bull Half Court builds on earlier streetball events such as Red Bull King of the Rock and Red Bull Reign. Since becoming a global tournament in 2021, it has travelled to cities including Rome, Cairo, Belgrade and New York, and now adds Dubai to its history.
