RUNE: People need to know that physiotherapists are not good

Holger Rune was stopped in the semi-finals at the ATP tournament in Basel.

In that match, he was defeated by champion Felix Auger-Aliassime.

After which he complained about the treatment provided by the physiotherapist, as he complained about pain in his legs.

“My legs were like that because the ATP physiotherapists are not good enough to take care of the players. That is the reason. Why do you think I play so poorly? People need to know that they are not good. You have a physio who has ten minutes for a player. And yes, I could have brought my own, which I will do in the future. We play at the best level and we have the best physiotherapists”, said Rune.

The defeat in this tournament removed him from the race for the ATP Tour Finals in Turin, so this week he will have to defend the title he won last season at the Masters in Paris.
