In a dominant performance at the Shanghai Masters final, world number two Judd Trump secured an 11-5 victory over Shaun Murphy on Sunday.
Murphy had reached the final following a 10-8 comeback win against Mark Selby, whilst Trump overpowered defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan with a 10-3 triumph in their semi-final clash.

The final frame concluded with a 107-1 scoreline in Trump’s favour, prompting Murphy to concede with a handshake. Ultimately, Judd Trump enjoyed a comfortable win, capturing the Shanghai Masters title for the first time. He was the standout player of the tournament, setting a new record for the elite 24-man invitational event by scoring ten centuries.
