EG reportedly bought Nightfall for $ 125,000 - did this transfer pay off at all?

An insider from the CIS Dota 2 scene revealed on the Russian social network Telegram that Evil Geniuses bought Egor “Nightfall” Grigorenko for $ 125,000.

Nightfall, formerly known as the epileptic kid, played for Virtus. pro in the previous DPC season. He has now moved to North America, where he plays for the region’s biggest name, Evil Geniuses.

One insider revealed that this transfer cost $ 125,000, which is one of the more expensive transfers of athletes in the CIS region. The most expensive transfer in the CIS region happened in 2019 when Virtus. pro bought AVANGAR CS: GO band for 1.2-2 million dollars.

If we look at their results in the NA DPC league, we should ask ourselves whether this transfer paid off for EG.

This is not the first time EG has bought CIS dota. RAMZES666 has previously performed for evil geniuses, who also moved from Virtus. pro, from carrying to the offline position.
