Malta trap shooter Gianluca Chetcuti today hit 69 Clay targets out of 75 clays in the first day of the Paris 2024 Olympics Trap competition.
Today’s result means that he stands a very remote chance to make it in tomorrow’s afternoon final. There are two more rounds of 25 clays each to establish the final 6 shooters who will shoot in the final for the medals.

Round 1 started very well for Chetcuti as he missed only one clay.
In the second round of 25 he missed three targets and in today’s 3rd round he missed two clay targets.

The Maltese shooter will be giving it his utmost tomorrow in the final two rounds again of 25 each and the accumulative clay targets will see the top six shooters advance for the final.
