Malta competed in its first international senior men’s beach handball game and tournament against France during Day 1 of the 2024 EHF Beach Handball Championships in Varna, Bulgaria.
The team showed great promise on its international debut, however were overcome by a strong French team, which saw the score end 2-0 (29-10 and 22-8). Liam Harrison and Mauro Camilleri Darmanin both scored 6 goals today on their EHF debut.
