Sauber team representative Bravi resigns from position

Alessandro Alunni Bravi will be stepping down from his position as team representative and managing director, bidding farewell to Sauber by the end of this month, as announced by the Swiss Formula One team on Wednesday.

Bravi joined Sauber in 2017, and in 2022, he assumed the role of managing director. Since 2023, he has been the public face of the team as its representative. In a statement, Bravi expressed his emotions during this time of departure from Sauber. He reminisced about witnessing the team’s remarkable growth and transformation since his arrival in 2017. In 2026, Sauber is set to become an Audi factory team, with Jonathan Wheatley, Red Bull’s longstanding sporting director, expected to take on the role of Audi team principal later this year.
