The squads have been confirmed ahead of the final stage of the inaugural FIFA Women’s Champions Cup, with four continental champions preparing to compete for the title in London.
Arsenal Women FC of England, ASFAR of Morocco, Gotham FC of the United States, and SC Corinthians of Brazil have all announced their selected players as anticipation builds for the concluding phase of the competition. The tournament brings together champions from four confederations, marking a significant moment in the international women’s club calendar.
Arsenal Women FC arrive as holders of the UEFA Women’s Champions League and have named a squad that includes Alessia Russo and Leah Williamson, both members of The Best FIFA Women’s 11 in 2025. They are joined by Mariona Caldentey, who was part of the Spain squad that won the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023.
Gotham FC have selected a squad featuring Emily Sonnett, Jaedyn Shaw and Rose Lavelle, all of whom were part of the United States team that won gold at the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.
ASFAR and SC Corinthians have also confirmed strong line ups with players who have experience at major international tournaments. ASFAR include Anissa Lahmari, who scored the decisive goal in Morocco’s victory over Colombia at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. SC Corinthians will be led by Tamires, a long serving Brazil international with more than 150 senior appearances.
The semi finals will be played at Brentford Stadium on Wednesday 28 January. Gotham FC will face SC Corinthians at 12:30 GMT, followed by Arsenal Women FC against ASFAR at 18:00 GMT. The tournament will conclude at Arsenal Stadium on Sunday 1 February, with the third place play off at 14:45 GMT and the final at 18:00 GMT, when the first FIFA Women’s Champions Cup winners will be crowned.
