Malta’s Under-17 Women’s Coach, Clint Tabone, has announced his squad for the forthcoming UEFA U17 European Championship Qualifiers. These matches are scheduled to be held at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali later this month.
The Maltese squad is set to compete against Romania, Ukraine, and Moldova in a series of consecutive matches.
As hosts of the Group B2 mini-tournament, Malta will begin their campaign by facing Romania on Wednesday, 13th November at 11:00 am. Subsequent fixtures against Ukraine and Moldova are slated for Saturday, 16th November at 11:00 am, and Tuesday, 19th November at 11:00 am, respectively.
This stage marks the first round of the qualification journey, as teams vie for a spot in the final tournament, which is set to take place in the Faroe Islands in May 2025. Head Coach Tabone will have the assistance of Karen Heneghan as Assistant Coach and Michelle Zahra as Goalkeeper Coach.
