Roberto Firmino, one of the icons of Liverpool’s recent history, hasn’t found himself in Saudi Arabia, so it shouldn’t be surprising if the Brazilian leaves Al Ahli.
Once one of the best strikers in the Premier League, he has scored only three goals in 17 matches for his new club.
To make matters worse, all three goals were scored on his debut for Al Ahli, and he hasn’t found the net since then. For this reason, he has been relegated to the bench and hasn’t been on the field since October.
As rumors circulate about his departure from Al Ahli, Al Ittifaq, led by another Liverpool legend, Steven Gerrard, has expressed interest.
Speaking about Firmino, Gerrard said, ‘Obviously, I know Bobby extremely well; I’m a huge fan of his game. I’ve followed him for years. He’s currently an Al Ahli player, so it’s very difficult for me to comment on that situation. But I’ve loved Bobby Firmino from the first day I watched him, and I’m a huge fan.
