The Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 will have an additional transfer window from June 1-10, allowing clubs to make early signings ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, the German Football League (DFL) announced on Tuesday.
FIFA has granted member associations of participating clubs the option to open an “exceptional registration window” before the tournament begins, enabling teams to strengthen their squads in advance.

The 32-team FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, will feature two Bundesliga giants—Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich—competing for the prestigious title.
This additional window could provide Bundesliga clubs with a key advantage, allowing them to finalize transfers early before the summer market fully opens. With Dortmund and Bayern preparing for a busy summer on both domestic and international fronts, early reinforcements could prove crucial.
